Punjab Approves Phase-Wise Urban Development Plan

LAHORE (AIA) The Punjab government has approved phase-wise construction, repair, and rehabilitation projects in major cities across the province.
Chairing a meeting held in Lahore on Tuesday, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said sewage and drainage systems would be developed in 59 cities during the first phase.
The meeting also decided to connect water supply tube wells to solar energy in a bid to reduce electricity expenses.
Maryam further directed that swings and sports facilities must be included in all new park projects.
