Ex-Servicemen Stand Battle-ready With Armed Forces

RAWALPINDI (AIA) Senior ex-servicemen of the Pakistan Armed Forces have declared their readiness to defend every inch of the motherland alongside the armed forces in the event of any misadventure by India.
Addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, Major General (Retd) Javed Aslam Tahir stated that the Pahalgam false flag operation was initiated by India to justify its actions aimed at closing Pakistan’s Indus waters and abrogating the Indus Waters Treaty.
“We, representing over two million retired officers and Jawans of the Pakistan Armed Forces, reiterate our unwavering support for the defence of Pakistan,” he said.
Major General (Retd) Tahir emphasised that ex-servicemen are always ready to protect every inch of Pakistan. “India will receive a befitting response in case of any aggression. On one order from the Army Chief, we will be ready to fight on land, in the air, and at sea, shoulder to shoulder with our armed forces,” he asserted.
He also conveyed a strong message to the international community, stating, “This time, India has targeted the very lifeline of the Pakistani people by attempting to abrogate the Indus Waters Treaty, which it cannot do unilaterally.”
“We stand united in solidarity with the Armed Forces, the people of Pakistan, and our motherland — Pakistan,” he affirmed.
Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Faheem Arshad, speaking at the conference, stated that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is ahead of the Indian Air Force in terms of technology and manpower, as demonstrated in 2019. “Our manpower is fully capable, and we have already showcased our strength by shooting down Israeli aircraft in the past,” he said.
“All PAF veterans have informed our high command that we are technically fit and ready to serve the country, anytime, anywhere, in any capacity,” he added.
