Pakistan Offers NCLEX, IELTS Support to Underprivileged Nurses

KARACHI (AIA) Pakistan has become the first country in the region to offer the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) programme, providing nurses with internationally recognised licensing and training opportunities.

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, inaugurated the programme at the College of International Skills Development in Karachi.

Speaking at the event, Dr Siddiqui said that visa guidance and IELTS preparation would also be provided under the programme, especially for nurses from underprivileged backgrounds.

The initiative marks a major milestone in Pakistan’s efforts to align its nursing education with global standards and support healthcare professionals seeking international employment opportunities.
