Government has presented relief-oriented budget: Finance Minister

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said the Federal Budget provides relief for the salaried class, reduces taxes for the corporate sector, supports the construction industry, and offers financing for small businesses.
Speaking at the Finance Standing Committee of the National Assembly in Islamabad on Thursday, he highlighted that no tax has been imposed on the agriculture sector.
The Minister said over 700 billion rupees have been allocated to the Benazir Income Support Programme, benefiting more than ten million families.
The Minister further said exports will be strengthened by supporting exporters through reduced tariffs and duties on raw materials.
