Rawal dam spillways to be opened, residents advised to exercise caution

ISLAMABAD (AIA) The spillways of Rawal Dam will be opened on Saturday at 6:00 AM due to the water level reaching 1750 feet, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The authority has warned that the water flow in Korang Nullah is expected to increase significantly, posing a risk to residents living in adjacent areas. In light of this, the public is advised to exercise extreme caution and avoid crossing the Nullah and temporary bridges built over it, especially during rapid water flow.
The NDMA urges residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
