PM Directs FBR to Develop Modern Digital Ecosystem

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has approved the development of a modern digital ecosystem in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). The PM directed the engagement of global experts to integrate data from production to consumer purchases into a single system, enabling real-time digital monitoring of the entire value chain. The move aims to expand the tax base, eliminate the informal economy, and reduce the tax burden on citizens.
