Pakistan, Australia Strengthen Human Rights Cooperation

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Pakistan and Australia have reaffirmed their commitment to promoting and protecting human rights through bilateral cooperation. Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins met with Federal Minister for Human Rights Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar to discuss strengthening collaboration and sharing best practices. They reviewed Pakistan’s progress in human rights laws and policies, including legislative reforms and initiatives like the National Action Plan on Human Rights. Both sides agreed to continue working together to promote dignity, inclusivity, and equality.
