CDA Cracks Down on Encroachments with Drone Surveillance

ISLAMABAD (AIA) The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has launched a tech-driven campaign against illegal encroachments in Islamabad, utilizing drone surveillance and Google Earth monitoring to ensure real-time oversight.
CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized the need for sustained enforcement, stating, “We are taking indiscriminate action against all illegal encroachments.” The authority has already recovered over 60 kanals of land in the Saidpur area and conducted operations on GT Road, Srinagar Highway, Tarnol, and the Expressway.
