PM Directs NDMA to Enhance Provincial Coordination for Flood Relief

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has instructed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to strengthen coordination with provinces to effectively assist and rehabilitate people affected by recent rains and floods. During a meeting with NDMA Chairman Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of early warnings for vulnerable areas to mitigate potential emergencies.
The Prime Minister was briefed on ongoing relief efforts and preparations for future emergencies. He also received updates on the progress of the Early Warning System in Gilgit-Baltistan and collaboration with the Ministry of Climate Change.
