Japan Lauds Punjab’s Development Initiatives in High-Level Tokyo Meeting

TOKYO (AIA) Japan’s Senior State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Miyaji Takuma, commended the Punjab government’s launch of over 120 development projects, calling it a significant step toward inclusive growth and progress.
The remarks came during a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Tokyo on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz acknowledged Japan’s remarkable strides in economic, technological, and social advancement. She expressed a strong interest in adopting Japan’s development model to uplift Punjab’s infrastructure and services, and extended gratitude for Japan’s continued support and cooperation.
