Health Minister Kamal Reviews Dengue Situation, Orders Enhanced Prevention Measures

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal chaired a high-level meeting on Tuesday to assess the current dengue situation in the country, with particular focus on Islamabad and other affected areas. Briefed on the spread of cases and control measures, Kamal stressed making prevention campaigns more effective and directed hospitals to allocate dedicated wards for dengue patients. He ensured availability of medicines, beds, and diagnostic facilities in health facilities. Special measures are underway in high-risk areas with intensified surveillance and spraying. The Minister urged citizens to follow health guidelines and emphasized public health protection as a top government priority.
