Sindh CM Urges Intensified Efforts to Eradicate Polio Amidst Persisting Cases

KARACHI (AIA) Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed the provincial health department and district administrations to undertake robust measures to eliminate polio from Sindh, expressing concern over the continued occurrence of cases in the province. Presiding over a high-level meeting on polio eradication held in Karachi on Friday, CM Shah stressed that any laxity in the drive against polio would not be countenanced. He underscored that refusal to administer polio vaccines is utterly unacceptable under any pretext, emphasizing the imperative of concerted action to achieve eradication.
