ISLAMABAD (AIA) Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has notified stakeholders of planned maintenance on one of its submarine cables slated to commence October 14, 2025, around 11 a.m. PST, lasting up to 18 hours. The work, conducted by an international cable consortium, aims to repair a faulty repeater. PTCL has cautioned that temporary degradation in internet services may be experienced during this period. The company has expressed regret for potential inconvenience and assured efforts to mitigate service disruption impact, according to a PTCL Group spokesperson.
