AJK Marks 78 Years of Freedom

MUZAFFARABAD (AIA) The 78th Founding Day of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will be celebrated on Friday, marking the state’s liberation from the Dogra regime in 1947. A public holiday has been declared, with flag-hoisting ceremonies and special prayers across the state. President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhary and Prime Minister Chaudhary Anwar-ul-Haq will lead the main ceremony in Muzaffarabad.
