CM Maryam Cracks Down on Land Mafia: Punjab Protection of Ownership Ordinance Approved

LAHORE (AIA) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the Punjab Protection of Ownership of Immovable Property Ordinance 2025, aimed at safeguarding citizens’ property rights and taking firm action against land grabbers. The ordinance establishes Dispute Resolution Committees across the province to ensure swift justice, with all land dispute cases to be resolved within 90 days. The CM declared that the chapter of land mafias in Punjab has been closed once and for all.
