PM Shehbaz Hails Jinnah Medical Complex as Milestone in Regional Healthcare

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has termed the under-construction Jinnah Medical Complex in Islamabad a landmark project in healthcare for Pakistan and the broader region.
Chairing a meeting of the Jinnah Medical Complex Board on Monday, the Prime Minister expressed appreciation to the Aga Khan Foundation for its technical cooperation and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to complete the project through joint efforts.
He directed authorities to accelerate work on all proposed treatment centers within the complex, ensuring timely delivery of world-class medical facilities.
The board briefed the Prime Minister on rapid progress across medical services, training, education, and research infrastructure, with a focus on integrating modern technology, artificial intelligence, and robotics to meet international healthcare standards.
The board also thanked the Prime Minister for his continued support and strategic guidance throughout the project’s development.
