ISLAMABAD (AIA) Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has emphasized the National Finance Commission’s (NFC) crucial role in ensuring fair resource distribution, fiscal stability, and sustainable economic growth. Chairing the inaugural meeting of the 11th NFC, he stressed the importance of collective efforts and constructive cooperation among provinces.
Aurangzeb highlighted the federal government’s commitment to timely completion of the 11th NFC Award, with Prime Minister taking keen interest in the process. He appreciated provinces’ commitment to fulfilling constitutional responsibilities and signing the National Fiscal Pact, underscoring shared resolve for national interest.
