Dar Reaffirms Pakistan’s Commitment to Regional Peace, ECO Cooperation

ASHGABAT (AIA) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has pledged Pakistan’s continued cooperation with ECO member states to advance regional peace, connectivity, and economic integration.
In a meeting with ECO Secretary General Dr. Asad Majeed Khan, Dar reiterated support for ECO Vision 2025 and proposed the development of an upgraded ECO Vision 2035.
The Deputy Prime Minister is accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the International Conference on Peace and Trust. Pakistan is also preparing to assume the chairmanship of the ECO Council of Ministers for 2026–2027.
