Sindh Unveils Double Decker Bus Plan to Ease Karachi’s Traffic Woes

KARACHI (AIA) The Sindh government has announced plans to launch a double-decker bus service in Karachi to address the city’s growing transportation challenges.
Chairing a meeting on urban transport in Karachi, Senior Minister for Transport Sharjeel Inam Memon said the initiative aims to provide modern commuting options and help reduce traffic congestion on key routes.
He added that new routes for electric buses (EVs) will also be introduced soon, as part of the government’s broader strategy to modernize public transport and promote eco-friendly mobility across the metropolis.
