ISLAMABAD (AIA) Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani has reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding provincial rights and promoting inclusive national development. Speaking at the National Workshop Balochistan held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad, Gilani emphasized the Senate’s role in ensuring equal representation of all provinces in national policymaking.
Highlighting Balochistan’s geostrategic importance, he stressed youth empowerment through education and institutional opportunities. He also underscored the need to boost investment in infrastructure, minerals, and trade to uplift local communities and foster unity. Referring to the Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan initiative, he reiterated that balanced development is essential for national progress.
