Sindh doubles additional wheat subsidy to Rs2,000 per 40kg
— September 17, 2026KARACHI (AIA) The Sindh cabinet has approved an additional Rs14.9 billion subsidy package for wheat growers, with farmers holding up to 25 acres eligible for the support.
The decision was taken at a Sindh cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi today.
The additional subsidy for farmers supplying wheat has also been increased from Rs1,000 to Rs2,000 per 40 kilograms.
