Internet Services Fully Restored Across Pakistan After Cable Repairs

ISLAMABAD (AIA) The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) announced the complete restoration of internet services nationwide, following the successful repair of the SMW4 submarine cable.
A PTA spokesperson stated that the resolution of the SMW4 fault, along with the earlier repair of the AAE-1 submarine cable, has fully eliminated the previous 1,750 Gbps internet shortfall. Internet speeds and service capacity are now fully restored across Pakistan.
