Legal Action Looms if Hasina Ignores ACC Summons

DHAKA (AIA) The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has announced plans to summon former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and several party members to respond to corruption allegations.
Speaking at the ACC headquarters on Tuesday, Director General Akhter Hossain emphasised that legal action would follow if they fail to appear as required.
Hossain said due to allegations of corruption, Sheikh Hasina and others from her party will be summoned to present their defenses. If they do not comply, actions will be taken as prescribed by law.
