Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Ensures Merit-Based Loans for ‘Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar’ Program

LAHORE (AIA) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has reaffirmed that loans under the ‘Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar’ program will be granted purely on merit, ensuring transparency and fairness in the process.
According to CM Nawaz, beneficiaries of the program will receive loans of up to Rs. 1.5 million, repayable in monthly installments of Rs. 14,000 over a period of nine years. This initiative aims to provide affordable housing solutions to low-income families in Punjab.
Notably, over 5,000 houses are nearing completion under the program, with construction underway for an additional 3,000 houses in Phase two. This rapid progress demonstrates the government’s commitment to addressing the housing needs of its citizens.
The ‘Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar’ program is a flagship initiative of the Punjab government, launched to provide 100,000 affordable housing units to eligible residents across the province.The program is designed to promote affordable housing, improve living standards, and foster economic growth in Punjab.
