PAF Showcases Aerial Mastery in Pakistan Day Parade

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets delivered a breathtaking aerial display during the Pakistan Day parade at Aiwan-e-Sadr, marking the occasion with precision and grandeur. President Asif Ali Zardari, military service chiefs, and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, were among the distinguished attendees.
According to a PAF spokesperson, the flypast paid tribute to the historic Lahore Resolution of 23 March 1940. PAF’s combat aircraft thundered across the skies, demonstrating exceptional professionalism, air superiority, and unwavering commitment to national defence.
The aerial display opened with the renowned Sherdils aerobatic team, which mesmerised the audience with its stunning manoeuvres and synchronised formations. As the team soared above Aiwan-e-Sadr, they painted the sky in the vibrant colours of the Pakistani flag, reaffirming the Air Force’s dedication to protecting the nation’s airspace.
A diverse fleet of PAF jets, including JF-17 Thunders, F-16 Fighting Falcons, Mirages, and state-of-the-art J-10C aircraft, executed a series of high-speed passes, precision formations, and synchronised flight patterns. The display reinforced PAF’s operational readiness and advanced combat capabilities.
This year’s Pakistan Day celebrations were scaled down in reverence for the holy month of Ramadan. However, the PAF flypast remained the highlight of the event, showcasing the Air Force’s relentless pursuit of excellence.
