Army Chief General Asim Munir’s Mother Passes Away

RAWALPINDI (AIA) The mother of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir passed away on the 23rd of Ramzan (March 24), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Tuesday. The military’s media wing extended prayers for her highest ranks in heaven.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed their condolences, conveying deep sorrow and sympathy to the bereaved family. In separate statements, they extended their support to General Munir and his loved ones during this difficult time.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar also expressed his grief, offering prayers for the departed soul. In his condolence message, he said the entire nation shares the sorrow of the Army Chief and his family.
