PPP Pays Homage to Bhutto, Reaffirms Commitment to His Vision

SUKKUR (AIA) Pakistanis today commemorated the 46th death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the country’s ninth prime minister, who was executed on April 4, 1979.
In a statement on Friday, MNA Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah said Bhutto’s progressive policies left a lasting impact on Pakistan, citing his role in nationalising key industries, introducing land reforms, and spearheading the development of Pakistan’s nuclear programme.
He noted that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), founded by Bhutto, remains at the forefront of honouring his legacy. Party leaders and workers have been visiting Bhutto’s mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Larkana, to offer prayers and lay floral wreaths in his memory.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also paid glowing tributes to his grandfather, vowing that his sacrifice would never be forgotten. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to Bhutto’s vision of democracy, social justice, and human rights.
As the nation remembers Bhutto’s contributions, his legacy continues to inspire generations of Pakistanis to work towards a more just and equitable society.
