Maryam Reviews Healthcare Projects, Approves Digital Referral System

LAHORE (AIA) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif presided over a meeting in Lahore on Tuesday to review progress on healthcare projects across the province.
During the meeting, it was decided to establish a separate Monitoring, Reporting and Evaluation Department to ensure improved oversight.
The meeting also approved the introduction of a comprehensive digital referral system in primary and secondary healthcare to enhance patient care and coordination.
Additionally, approval was granted for the purchase of modern vehicles for the Clinic on Wheels initiative. The number of mobile clinics is expected to rise to 544 by the end of May.
