AIOU Pushes Admission Deadline to Help Students During Ramadan

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has extended the admission deadline for Matric, FA, Associate Degree, B.Ed, BS, BBA, Postgraduate Diploma programmes, and Certificate courses until March 25, with late fee charges, to support students and ensure academic continuity.
The previous deadline was February 10, later extended to March 5. However, due to Ramadan engagements and other factors, many students were unable to complete their admissions on time. In response to numerous student requests, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood approved the extension to ensure that no student misses the chance to continue their education.
“Education is a fundamental right, and AIOU remains committed to providing accessible learning opportunities for all,” Dr. Mahmood stated.
The university continues to offer maximum support to students, helping them pursue their education without unnecessary barriers. Students are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline to take full advantage of this opportunity.
