AJK Health Minister Naqvi Reviews Disease Control Measures with NIH Delegation

MUZAFFARABAD (AIA) Public Health Minister Syed Bazal Ali Naqvi met with a National Institute of Health (NIH) delegation to review progress on Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) and Integrated Disease Surveillance & Response (IDSR) system in AJK.
The NIH team briefed the Minister on efforts to enhance RRTs’ capacity, emergency response protocols, and disease surveillance. Naqvi emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening health services and responding effectively to infectious diseases.
The meeting decided to further activate RRTs, modernize disease surveillance systems, and promote technical cooperation with NIH to improve public health outcomes in AJK.
