Balochistan Govt Launches Rs5bn Initiative to Revamp Fisheries Sector

QUETTA (AIA) The Government of Balochistan has launched a landmark initiative to promote and modernize the province’s fisheries sector, signing a Rs5 billion Memorandum of Understanding with private sector partners. A state-of-the-art shrimp farming facility employing modern aquaculture techniques will be established in Hub’s Damb area, aiming to boost seafood exports, generate thousands of jobs, and strengthen the sector.
