BISP Chairperson, Sindh Chief Secretary Discuss Social Welfare Collaboration

KARACHI (AIA) Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, held a meeting with Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Asif Haider Shah in Karachi.
Discussions centred around security and logistical arrangements at BISP payment centres, ensuring mutual cooperation in addressing deductions or complaints during fund disbursement, and the allocation of suitable government land for the establishment of BISP offices in the province.
The meeting also explored the inclusion of BISP-eligible women in the Sindh government’s proposed housing society project.
Chief Secretary Shah assured full support and cooperation, stating that the Sindh government will continue to actively participate in BISP’s social security initiatives.
