ISLAMABAD (AIA) The government has approved the Wheat Policy 2025-26, setting the procurement price at Rs3,500 per 40kg. The policy aims to provide fair prices to farmers and ensure stable wheat stocks. No restrictions will be imposed on inter-provincial wheat movement, ensuring nationwide availability. A national committee, headed by the Federal Minister for National Food Security, will oversee policy implementation.
