Islamabad, Dhaka Eye Closer City-Level Collaboration
— June 21, 2026ISLAMABAD (AIA) Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to enhance cooperation at the municipal level.The understanding was reached during a meeting between Chief Commissioner Islamabad Sohail Ashraf and Bangladesh’s High Commissioner Muhammad Iqbal Hussain in Islamabad.
The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and explored avenues for expanding cooperation between Islamabad and Dhaka. During the meeting, the Bangladeshi envoy said Pakistan and Bangladesh are working to strengthen people-to-people contacts and expand cooperation in trade and other sectors.
