Kalam Valley Hosts Thrilling Snow Jeep Race

PESHAWAR (AIA) A thrilling snow jeep race kicked off on Sunday in the picturesque Kalam Valley of Swat, captivating spectators with its challenging terrain and breathtaking scenery.
The event was organised jointly by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority and the Frontier 4×4 Club, with support from the Pakistan Army and Upper Swat Development Authority, said Muhammad Saad, spokesman for the Tourism Authority.
More than 40 jeeps, driven by both male and female competitors, participated in the race along a four-kilometre snowy track. The competition featured four categories: 2500 CC, 2500 CC to Open, vintage, and lady drivers.
Scores of spectators gathered to witness the exhilarating opening ceremony and cheer on the participants as they manoeuvred through the treacherous, snow-covered racetrack.
