Karachi University Awards Advanced Degrees in Various Disciplines

KARACHI (AIA) The Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) of the University of Karachi has awarded 13 PhD, 39 MPhil, and two MS degrees in various disciplines during its recent meeting. The degrees were conferred under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi. The awardees include prominent research areas such as biotechnology, business administration, molecular medicine, and public administration.
A total of 13 PhD degrees were awarded in disciplines including biotechnology, botany, business administration, chemistry, molecular medicine, pharmacology, psychology, public administration, and zoology. The MPhil degrees were awarded in various fields, including applied economics, area studies, biochemistry, botany, chemistry, criminology, economics, environmental studies, genetics, and more.
The ASRB meeting also awarded MS degrees in education and women’s studies.
