Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Include Life Insurance in Sehat Card Program

PESHAWAR ( AIA ) In a significant move to enhance social protection, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has announced plans to incorporate a life insurance scheme into the Sehat Card program. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive protection to beneficiaries, building on the program’s existing healthcare services.
The Sehat Card program, a flagship initiative of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, already offers free inpatient healthcare services in the province. The program covers a wide range of treatments, including accidents and emergencies, general medicine, surgery, and orthopedics.
The Chief Minister’s announcement underscores the government’s commitment to prioritizing the health sector and ensuring accessible healthcare services across the province.
