Nazir Hussain Gilani Joins AJK Election Commission

MUZAFFARABAD (AIA) Syed Nazir Hussain Gilani was sworn in as the new member of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Election Commission during a ceremony held at the office of the Chief Election Commissioner.
Justice (Retd) Abdul Rashid Sulehria, Chief Election Commissioner, administered the oath. The ceremony was attended by prominent officials, including former Chief Justice Syed Manzoor Hussain Gilani, Secretary Services and General Administration Zafar Mahmood Khan, and Secretary Law Chaudhry Wajid Hussain.
The appointment of Syed Nazir Hussain Gilani is seen as a significant step towards strengthening the commission’s capacity to ensure transparent and impartial elections in the region.
