NDMA Launches Inclusive Disaster Risk Management Initiatives

ISLAMABAD (AIA) NDMA has introduced a set of inclusive disaster risk management initiatives to better protect vulnerable groups including women, children, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and the economically challenged.
The measures include multi-format early warning systems, a community engagement framework, and updated policy guidelines for marginalized groups.
Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik said the initiatives reflect Pakistan’s commitment to people-centred and accessible disaster response.
