‘Now You Just Wait for Our Response’: DG ISPR Warns India Over Missile, Drone Attacks

RAWALPINDI (AIA) Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has confirmed that India targeted Pakistan Air Force’s Nur Khan, Murid and Shorkot air bases but stated that all air force assets remain safe.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, he said that in its continued acts of naked aggression, India fired air-to-surface missiles using its jets. Additionally, he revealed that India launched missile and drone attacks not only on Pakistan but also into Afghanistan.
“Through its madness, aggression, and deceit, India is pushing the entire region towards a dangerous war,” he warned. “We only want to tell India that we are a nation that will not be intimidated by its power, deceit or aggression. Now you just wait for our response.”
Later, while briefing the media with further updates, the DG ISPR said most of the Indian missiles were intercepted by Pakistan’s air defence system. Initial damage assessments confirm that no flying assets of the Pakistan Air Force were harmed.
He emphasised that the air defence system had successfully prevented India from achieving its intended objectives.
The DG ISPR also revealed that India had launched missiles and a drone strike into Afghanistan shortly after attacking its own territory in Indian Punjab—a move he described as part of a larger “sinister plan” to drag the region into chaos.
He said the Pakistan Air Force has obtained electronic signatures of all the fired missiles, indicating their origin and intended targets.
Chaudhry assured the public that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully vigilant and are effectively thwarting India’s repeated, cowardly provocations.
