Pakistan-China University Partnership to Establish Joint Research Centre on Lithium Batteries

BEIJING (AIA) The University of Sargodha (UoS), Pakistan, and Zaozhuang School of Technology (ZST), China, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a Joint Research Centre on Lithium Batteries at UoS. The partnership aims to advance clean energy and mobility solutions through collaborative research and academic exchange in material science, energy storage systems, and related technologies.
The agreement includes faculty and researcher exchange, student training, joint supervision, seminars, workshops, collaborative research, and patent development. A Joint Coordination Committee will oversee the partnership’s implementation, meeting annually to assess progress and identify new collaboration areas. This initiative underscores the growing cooperation between Pakistan and China in the field of scientific research and innovation.
