Pakistan Honors King of Jordan with Nishan-e-Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (AIA) President Asif Ali Zardari conferred the prestigious Nishan-e-Pakistan upon King Abdullah II of Jordan, highlighting the strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and Jordan. The ceremony followed talks between the two leaders, who reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening relations and promoting cooperation in various sectors.
The meeting focused on regional and international developments, with both sides emphasizing the need for a Two-State solution to the Palestine issue and rejecting any displacement of Palestinians. The leaders also discussed ways to enhance people-to-people contact and cooperation in multilateral forums.
King Abdullah II expressed pride in the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Pakistan, while President Zardari welcomed the King’s visit as a testament to the enduring friendship between the two nations.
