Pakistan Reaffirms Commitment to Paris Agreement: Romina

ABU DHABI (AIA) Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change, Romina Khurshid Alam, reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to the Paris Agreement for a climate-resilient and low-emission future.
Speaking at the 16th IRENA Assembly, she highlighted Pakistan’s rapid solar energy growth and reaffirmed the country’s target of achieving 60% renewable energy in its power mix by 2030. She also called for enhanced concessional finance and regional cooperation to support developing nations.
