Pakistan Values Partnership with EU: President Zardari

ISLAMABAD (AIA) President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized that Pakistan highly values its multi-dimensional partnership with the European Union. He made the remarks during a meeting with outgoing Head of the European Union Delegation to Pakistan, Dr. Riina Kionka, who called on him in Islamabad.
The President highlighted that a strong Pakistan-EU relationship significantly contributes to regional stability and global security. He noted that the European Union is one of Pakistan’s largest trade and investment partners, with vast potential for further expanding development cooperation, particularly given Pakistan’s large youth population and industrial growth prospects.
President Zardari congratulated Dr. Riina Kionka on completing her tenure in Pakistan and praised her valuable contributions to strengthening Pakistan-EU relations.
