LAHORE (AIA) Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has announced a complete waiver of August electricity bills for domestic consumers in flood-affected areas. In his address to the nation, he stated that the federal government will bear the cost of these bills, providing relief to those who have already paid will receive a refund in their next bill. The PM also directed a detailed assessment of losses incurred by agricultural, commercial, and industrial sectors, with further relief measures to be considered based on the findings.
