PM Shehbaz Calls for Collective Efforts to Combat Natural Disasters

LAHORE (AIA) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the need for collective efforts to mitigate the impact of natural disasters, particularly floods. Chairing a meeting in Narowal, he stressed the importance of enhancing water storage capacity and constructing dams like Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dams. The PM appreciated the armed forces’ coordination with civil administration in rescue efforts and directed allied departments to demonstrate preparedness. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz assured full rehabilitation of damaged infrastructure and compensation for losses.
