PM Shehbaz Launches Inspire Initiative to Boost Semiconductor Research

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has launched the Inspire Initiative to nurture semiconductor professionals for industry research and education. The program aims to equip Pakistan’s youth with skills in IT, Artificial Intelligence, and semiconductors, with an allocation of Rs4.5 billion from the Public Sector Development Program. The initiative includes training 7,200 youth and establishing nine university clusters with state-of-the-art laboratories.
