PM Shehbaz Reaffirms Strong Cultural, Economic Ties with Tajikistan

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to deepening multifaceted cooperation with Tajikistan in trade, connectivity, energy, and culture.
He made these remarks during a meeting with Tajikistan’s Minister of Culture, Ms. Sattoriyon Matlubakhon Amonzoda, who called on him in Islamabad.
Welcoming the delegation, the Prime Minister emphasized the historical and cultural bonds shared by both nations and underscored the importance of people-to-people and cultural exchanges.
He praised the ongoing Pakistan-Tajikistan Cultural Week as a meaningful initiative to celebrate shared heritage and strengthen bilateral ties. The Tajik Minister conveyed President Emomali Rahmon’s greetings and expressed keen interest in expanding joint cultural programs.
