— September 13, 2025
ISLAMABAD (AIA) Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will participate in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, Qatar, on September 15, 2025. The summit, co-sponsored by Pakistan, aims to address Israel’s recent airstrikes on Doha and the escalating situation in Palestine, including Israeli attempts to occupy Gaza and expand settlement activities in the West Bank.
Heads of state and government from OIC member countries will attend the summit to deliberate on the regional crisis and formulate a joint strategy. A preparatory meeting of foreign ministers will take place on September 14, 2025, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
Pakistan has strongly condemned Israeli aggression against Qatar and other regional states, emphasizing its commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East. This commitment was underscored by Prime Minister Sharif’s recent visit to Doha on September 11, where he met with Qatari leadership to express Pakistan’s solidarity and support.
