PM Shehbaz Vows Full Support to Exporters, Emphasizes SME Growth

LAHORE (AIA) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing full support to exporters and businessmen to boost the country’s exports.
Chairing a meeting in Lahore, he said enhancing exports is vital for sustainable economic development. He stressed the need to promote small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to strengthen exports and create job opportunities.
The Prime Minister directed key federal ministers to personally engage with exporters across industrial hubs and emphasized closer coordination with provinces, particularly for cold chain development and trade-related sectors.
He was also briefed on export-import performance for the current fiscal year 2025–2026.
